ABOUT ALUMINUM RECYCLING
WE ACCEPT YOUR ALUMINUM IN TAYLORSVILLE
Aluminum is one of the most recycled metals in the Salt Lake Valley, and we buy every common form of it at Redwood Recycling. Cans, siding, extrusion, rims, cast parts, old sheet, if it’s aluminum, we want it.
Aluminum pays differently by type and grade, extrusion pays more than cans, and clean material pays more than painted or contaminated loads. Our buyers sort and grade your load when you arrive and tell you exactly what you’ve got before you commit to anything.
We serve the full Salt Lake Valley, including Taylorsville, West Jordan, Murray, Midvale, South Salt Lake, Kearns, Millcreek, Sandy, and beyond. Most visits take 15 minutes or less.

COMMON QUESTIONS
ALUMINUM RECYCLING FAQ
Do you take aluminum cans and food cans?
Yes to both. Aluminum beverage cans (soda, beer, energy drinks) and steel food cans (soup, vegetables, pet food) are all accepted. Labels are fine; just empty and rinse them. See current rates on our Prices page.
Do I need to crush my aluminum cans?
It's not required, but it helps you. We buy cans by the pound, so crushing them just lets you fit more in the same space for transport. Crushed or not, the weight is the same.
