WHAT WE BUY
We buy all the major metals: copper in every grade from bright and shiny to insulated wire, aluminum, including cans, siding, extrusion, rims, and clips, brass in yellow, red, and sprinkler, steel and iron by the ton, stainless steel in 304 and 316, lead-acid car batteries, and more. If it’s metal and you’re not sure what it is or what it’s worth, bring it in; our buyers will identify it and tell you exactly what you’ll get for it.
HOW PRICES ARE DETERMINED
What your load is worth comes down to three things: the type of metal, the grade, and how clean it is. Copper is graded from Bright & Shiny (highest) down to insulated wire depending on purity and coatings.
Aluminum pays differently depending on whether it’s cans, extrusion, clip, or cast. Mixed or contaminated loads, which are metals with attached plastic, rubber, or steel, are graded down. The cleanest, sorted loads always pay the most. Not sure how to sort or prep? Our staff will walk you through it when you arrive.
